Solar & Lithium Systems

A vacation lifestyle at anchor without generator noise: this is no longer a luxury, but a standard for the modern yacht owner. The development of solar panel technology and lithium battery solutions over the last decade has made it possible to transform your yacht into a quiet, eco-friendly and more independent living space. CDB Marin starts the project with an energy needs analysis and ends with the right components. Flexible monocrystalline marine solar panels are mounted on the bimini top, hard top, stern sunshade or deck without disrupting your yacht's lines. High-efficiency MPPT charge controllers (Victron, Mastervolt) transfer the energy from the panel to the battery bank with maximum efficiency. Lithium LiFePO4 battery banks are three times lighter, four times longer-lasting and five times faster-charging than their lead-acid counterparts. Smart BMS (Battery Management System) automatically manages cell balance, temperature control and safe circuit management. Everything is monitored from a mobile application with Cerbo GX and VRM Portal. Lithium conversion of your existing yacht, design from scratch for new build yachts or hybrid AC/DC solutions — all are our responsibility.
